Context

As an organization for the prevention and promotion of psychosocial health, we have decided to focus on the further development of the "Life Workshop" (LW) initiative. The training of our trainers on issues of artistic expression and the supervision of work in a corresponding foreign body will significantly contribute to the improvement of the daily teaching process.

Objectives

• Human resource development by acquiring new skills and abilities.
• The methodological innovation with the acquisition of innovative tools and exposure to new ideas.
• We wish to establish and strengthen our contacts with foreign partners

Activities

The participants will take part in seminars on the use of the theater as a vehicle and a social tool. They will be training in the use of social theater and creativity as working methods and as an educational tool so that the instructor understands the difficulties of implementation so that he can provide and act accordingly. A series of follow-up activities are planned at the center "Drug Plan" (Charleroi) which is a member of the prevention network to which it belongs and the host institution at Artevelde University, Department of Art Therapy.

Results

Participants will acquire knowledge and skills on the use of creative and enjoyable activities as a tool in teaching establishing alternative ways of communication, on the use of games (objects, role-plays and scripts) to create a healthy learning environment and on the use of methods that shape creative dynamics among students and on the methods of creating a climate of trust that favors the development of students and increases their self-confidence.
